At Burntune, we invest seriously in every student who walks through our door. Our refund policy is built around one principle: we stand behind the quality of our mentorship, and we ask that students stand behind their own commitment. This policy differs depending on the type of programme you are enrolled in. Please read it carefully before enrolling.
Burntune offers two distinct categories of programmes, and the refund conditions differ significantly between them:
The refund eligibility conditions described in this policy apply differently to each programme type, as detailed in the sections below.
For Burntune's mentorship and coaching programmes of 30 days or longer, a conditional refund may be requested within the first 30 days of enrolment, or on the 30th day itself. This is the only refund window available.
Enrolment in a Burntune mentorship programme is enrolment in an experience — not a set of individual sessions. The programme fee covers your full access to the programme for the defined period, including a minimum of four live sessions per month, session recordings, assignments, and mentor feedback. You are not billed per session.
A refund request will only be considered valid if both of the following conditions are met at the time of the request:
1. All sessions attended — the student must have attended all live sessions made available to them during the programme period. Missing sessions without a valid reason disqualifies the refund request entirely.
2. All assignments submitted — the student must have submitted all assigned work. The quality of the submission is not evaluated for refund purposes; what matters is that the assignment was posted. Submitting something, regardless of how good or rough it is, meets this condition. Not submitting at all does not.
If both conditions are met and you remain unsatisfied with the programme, you may raise a refund request within the 30-day window. Requests submitted after the 30-day window will not be entertained under any circumstances.
This policy exists because genuine dissatisfaction, after genuine participation, is something we take seriously. However, refunds cannot be claimed by students who did not fully engage with what they enrolled in.
Pre-recorded courses offered by Burntune are non-refundable. There is no refund window for self-study courses.
By enrolling in a pre-recorded course, you acknowledge that you are purchasing access to a complete body of content that is immediately available to you upon enrolment. The value of the course is delivered at the point of access, and no refund will be issued regardless of how much or how little of the content you have consumed.
We strongly encourage prospective students to review all available programme information, sample content where offered, and reach out to us with any questions before enrolling.
Where a student has enrolled using an instalment payment plan, the following applies:
Failure to complete scheduled instalment payments may result in suspension or termination of access at Burntune's discretion.
Burntune believes that conversations matter more than forms. If you wish to raise a refund request, you may reach us through any of the following channels:
When raising a refund request, please include your full name, the programme you are enrolled in, the date of enrolment, and a brief description of your concern. For mentorship refunds, please also confirm that you have attended all sessions and submitted all assignments during the period.
All refund decisions will be communicated to you in writing by Burntune. A verbal conversation alone does not constitute a confirmed refund — written confirmation from Burntune is required for a refund to be formally approved.
Once a refund has been formally approved and confirmed in writing by Burntune, we will initiate the refund to your original payment method within 7 to 14 business days. The time taken for the funds to appear in your account may vary depending on your payment provider or bank.
Burntune is not responsible for delays caused by payment gateways, banks, or currency conversion processes once the refund has been initiated from our end.
Transaction and payment gateway fees incurred at the time of the original payment are non-recoverable and will be deducted from the refund amount where applicable.
The following are non-refundable under all circumstances:
We ask that students contact us directly before initiating any chargeback or payment dispute with their bank or card provider. Burntune is committed to resolving legitimate concerns fairly and promptly through direct communication.
Initiating a chargeback without first raising the matter with Burntune — or in circumstances where no valid refund entitlement exists under this policy — will be treated as a breach of our Terms and Conditions. Burntune reserves the right to contest any such dispute and to suspend or terminate the student's access to all programmes and materials pending resolution.
Burntune recognises that life is unpredictable. In cases of serious medical emergency or bereavement, we are willing to review a refund or deferral request outside the standard conditions of this policy, entirely at Burntune's discretion.
To raise such a request, please contact us through any of the channels listed in Section 5 and provide supporting documentation (such as a medical certificate or other relevant evidence). Burntune will review each case individually and communicate its decision in writing.
The existence of this provision does not create an obligation on Burntune to approve any request, and decisions made under this clause are final.
